Artist's Statement

Life for me is like a journey. Experiences I have acquired throughout my life as well as the human nature & natural things around me had been a constant source of inspiration of my artistic expression. These expressions for ages searching their way out for the release had created a kind of breathlessness. Nature as well as the non living objects and symbols along with sound, echo and silence has found shape and form in my artistic expressions. Some of them spontaneously emerge from my sub-conscious because of my hobbies, sensitivities towards the nature and the family structure. These imaginary images are also some allegories of the experiences of my present day life apart from its formative and colorist approach. I get titillated by the socio-political problems but also keep struggling against natural instincts i.e. basic desires, lust and anger. Mostly these feelings spontaneously appear as allegories in my artworks which I later try to identify and justify. I enjoy the creative process full of the struggle between the influences and the experiences which results with the calmness and satisfaction of the end product like pregnancy which involves pain and pleasure at the same time.
