An architect by training, Anu Ganju is a professional artist. Anu spent six months working in an Architectural firm in Switzerland and is widely travelled. Anu combines her passion for painting with interior-design projects, music ( piano ), languages (German), and travel.
Anu’s art is unique in its harmoniously blended use of vibrant colours. It exudes serenity and calm. She has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many prestigious group shows, including those organised by Intach, the South Korean Art Group, Lalit Kala Academy.
She works in diverse media: oil on canvas, water colour, charcoal, acrylic. The diversity of subjects depicted in her art has invited special praise and comment. Figures, geometric grid patterns- inspired undoubtedly by her architectural background, fish, birds, and abstract landscapes flow effortlessly across her canvases.
Anu’s work has been bought by the Taj Group of hotels that also commissioned her to create 17 pieces exclusively for the Indian restaurant in one of the prominent Taj hotels in Mumbai & and by art collectors in many countries, including in the U.S, U.K., Germany, and the Philippines.
Several of Anu’s paintings have been printed as Greeting Cards and sold with great success to raise funds for the Blood Bank Society, Chandigarh.
