Anjoo Bajaj Goel, born in 1970 in Amritsar, currently resides in Gurugram, Haryana. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Art from the Government College of Art in Chandigarh in 1992 and furthered her education with a postgraduate degree in Interior Design. Today, she works as a freelance artist and interior consultant.
With over thirty years of experience, Anjoo stands out as a recognized mixed-media artist and interior designer. She specializes in creating unique commissioned artworks and contemporary cultural pieces, meticulously considering scale, color, and material in each project. Her art is renowned for harmoniously integrating with architectural elements, resulting in striking statement pieces and series for private collectors, corporate collections, and luxury hotels, developed through close collaboration with clients, architects, and project teams.
Anjoo has actively participated in numerous state-level painting workshops, including Kala Sangam 2016 in Gurugram, organized by Haryana Kala Parishad, and GRATITUDE 2016 at the National Art Center. Her works have featured in exhibitions such as FACES and Portraits at Lokayata Art Gallery in Hauz Khaz Village (2017) and Kala Utsav by Sanskar Bharti Gurugram (2018), as well as the MASK event at Lokayata. In 2019, she received recognition for her artwork in the photography contest Bharat Ke Rang.
In addition to her exhibitions, Anjoo has conducted numerous live painting demonstrations, including one organized by Sanskar Bharti Raja Ravi Verma Ekai in 2018. She participated in the one-day workshop INDIA@75 in collaboration with Haryana Kala Parishad (2021) and Guru Shishya Parampara at the National Art Center (2021). During the lockdown period, her works were showcased online by Kala Kalp Gurugram in 2021, and one of her lockdown creations was featured in the Coffee Table Book “Creativity Unquarantined,” a collection of works by various artists from India and abroad.
Anjoo has also had the honor of serving as a judge for several art competitions at the district, interstate, and all-India levels, including the All India Children Contest by Shanker Art Foundation and at Rajkiya Kanya Vidyalaya, Jacubpura and Manav Rachna International, Faridabad. Moreover, her vast expertise in art extends to design, having executed and designed numerous high-end hotels and residences.
