Artist of India

Sh. B. C. Prasad, is another important artist of Haryana, who has received his art education at Patna school and Baroda University school. He has evolved a style of art described by him as anti-intellectual and visual. The artist is of the opinion that his paintings are visuals with feeling and communicate with the viewer without any introduction. His painting certainly conveys the feelings of ‘Winter Noon’ in Haryana. Winter is cool in North West India and basking in the sun provides much relief. The colours are fresh and in tune with the theme. The works of the artist at places give an idea of slight influence of modern Pop-art but the artist is not conscious .of the fact. His paintings are his own creation and the artist feels that he is still struggling for exploring his image and hopes to achieve it soon.
