Social engineer Dr. Abdul Salam Khan is a Gold Medalist in Drawing and Painting, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Visual Arts. A multifaceted persona with a distinctive impressionist painter, academician, and amateur writer. He uses creativity and innovative approaches through myriad canvases to bring about long-lasting, transformative changes in society in a succinct effort to combat and resolve perpetual societal problems. The power and strength of his words and visual medium can positively influence the mindset and outlook of the people. Khan has a continuing affinity towards society’s most plaguing concerns. He has always tried his best to utilize his academic and professional knowledge to be of use to society at large.
He has held nearly 16 solo and 196 group shows at various art galleries & attended more than 12 National and 7 International art camps. In academics and research, he presented papers in 6 National & 7 International conferences & published 31 research papers and 24 book chapters in various reputed journals and books. Also attended more than 200 national and international conferences, webinars, and faculty development programs on various contemporary topics.
