Ananda Moy Banerji (Born 1959, Kolkata) is a distinguished Indian artist based in Delhi-NCR. He earned his BFA in Painting from the College of Art, Delhi, and MFA in Printmaking from Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan, later pursuing a research associateship at Camberwell College of Arts, London, through the Charles Wallace India Trust Award. Renowned for his printmaking and contemporary practice, he has exhibited widely in India and internationally, including “Les Mois de l’Estampe” in Paris, as well as numerous Biennials and Triennials, especially the Xth Triennial India.

His honours include the Lalit Kala Akademi National Award, the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award, the AIFACS Award, and the Nagasawa Art Park Residency (Japan). A founder member of the Indian Printmakers Guild, he remains deeply involved in academic conversations, workshops, and art camps. Mr. Banerji has held important solo shows at Gallery Espace, The British Council, and Lalit Kala Akademi. He currently serves as Academic Dean and Vice-Principal at South Delhi Polytechnic for Women.
