Ramesh P. Gujar (born 1969, Pune) is a contemporary figurative artist known for his emotionally resonant depictions of Indian cultural and spiritual themes. A graduate of Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya (G.D. Art, 1994), he has spent over two decades exploring human relationships through vibrant, textured compositions featuring Krishna, Ganesha, Buddha, mother-child bonds, and everyday life.
In recent years, Gujar has shifted toward more introspective expression with his series “Creative Faces.” Presented in this exhibition, these works depart from his earlier colourful style and instead use striking black-and-white tones with minimal colour. Through this restrained palette, he captures the subtlety, individuality, and inner emotional world of each face.
Gujar has exhibited widely across India and internationally, and his works are held in prominent private collections.
