Romendra Sagar

Romendra Sagar is an artist of surreal and visionary themes; his imagination, intuition and creativity are not only with artworks but also in different spheres of life. Art was more like a hobby and a passion for him since childhood. Brilliant in academics with a double master’s in Hindi and political science, Mr. Sagar was a top voice and producer on All India Radio (A.I.R. FM) in Delhi. At least 10 programs running together, he proudly holds a LIMCA BOOK OF WORLD RECORD for running the longest program on the radio. He is very much associated with A.I.R FM as a private producer to this day.
He is an expert corporate and documentary filmmaker running his independent production house by the name of ‘X’Calibre’, which highlights some of the elite and prestigious clients, like political campaigning for Shri LK Advani and Mr. Shatrughan Sinha. Photography also excites him, and he has been practicing the same during his relaxed moments with a magnificent portfolio. If that is not enough, as an all-rounder professional, he also writes scripts, stories and campaigns for leading TV channels like Zee TV and has been recognized many times for his one-liners, advertising campaigns and promotions for various brands.
His passion for Art in society, to figurative art combined with patterns and abstracts, has been a part of many Art Exhibitions in Delhi NCR. He follows a classical tradition of drawing and uses a realistic representation of the human figure in an attempt to bring reality closer to the realm of dreams and spirituality, creating a world of visual poetry where light and darkness collide and reveal the symbolic and the mystical. Some of the art exhibition locations where his artworks have been showcased are AIFACS, Indira Gandhi Centre for Art and Culture and Artizen Art Gallery. He has been honored with awards as well from some great personalities and covered in media, namely Prime News (News Channel), Delhi Times and Dainik Bhaskar.
