Sadaf Beg Khan, born in 1982 in Varanasi, spent her childhood in a village, where nature became her healer, companion, and inspiration. She completed her BFA in 2005 and MFA in 2007 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Nature and women are central themes in her work, reflecting her belief that a woman’s femininity is her greatest strength. Her paintings invite viewers to explore aspects of femininity, beauty, vulnerability, and resilience. Sadaf’s visual language is defined by lively, harmonious colours, creating a sense of movement and music even in silent landscapes, figures, or abstract expressions.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, she has developed a distinctive style using dots, giving her paintings a unique texture and rhythm. Through her art, Sadaf captures the subtle interplay between nature and human emotion, transforming simple observations into vivid, expressive compositions.
